GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE
The purpose of these terms is to inform our guests about the terms, conditions of reservation and cancellation, as well as responsibilities. These conditions of sale can be modified at any time without notice. Acceptance and compliance with these conditions of sale are acquired as soon as the deposit is paid.
NB: Specific terms and conditions apply to the YOGA STAY and must be accepted at the time of booking.
Rates and conditions
The prices indicated are rates in euros per night, breakfast included for the SUITE IN THE STARS and for the dates chosen.
The Tourist Tax is to be added to the current rates.
Terms, rates and offers are subject to change without notice. A deposit of 200 euros will be requested on arrival and only for staying in THE CHARMING APARTMENT.
Booking
All reservations are accompanied by a written confirmation made to the client by email and the payment of the deposit of 50% of the total amount of the stay, deducted from the total amount on the day of departure. The payment of the deposit implies the acceptance of these general conditions of sale.
Length of stay
Under no circumstances will the customer be able to claim any right to remain in the premises.
Payment methods accepted
• Bank transfer – The payment of the deposit of 50% of the stay can be made by bank transfer indicating the reason: STAY CATICHE. The booking will be deemed firm upon receipt of a proof of transfer by SMS screen capture.Transfer outside SEPA, add 20 euros of bank charges.
• Cash
Reservation Change
Any reservation changes must be requested directly from La Catiche de Loutre by email: lacatichedeloutre@icloud.com
This change request will only be effective when LA CATICHE DE LOUTRE has confirmed its agreement by email. Subject to availability the duration of the stay can be extended. If the stay is shortened by one or more nights, no refund is possible.
Cancellation of booking by the traveller
Any partial or total cancellation must be the subject of a request directly to LA CATICHE DE LOUTRE by email: lacatichedeloutre@icloud.com
• If the cancellation occurs more than 7 days before the date of arrival the deposit paid to the reservation, that 50% will be kept and we postpone the stay later by a joint agreement.
• If the cancellation occurs less than 7 days before the date of arrival or in case of no presentation or if the traveller leaves the guest house during the stay, the total amount of the stay will be due. This cancellation request will not be effective until LA CATICHE DE LOUTRE has confirmed its acceptance by email.
COVID Cancellation
In case of cancellation of your stay due to possible governmental or prefectoral provisions, French or foreign, restricting the movements, we postpone the stay later by a joint agreement.
Reminder: for any other cancellation of your stay (illness, accident, weather, car breakdown, etc.) the General Conditions of Sale, above, apply.
Cancellation by La Catiche de Loutre
In case of cancellation by the owners of LA CATICHE DE LOUTRE, the latter will reimburse the travelers all the deposits without prejudging the remedies for any damages suffered.
Insurance
The customer certifies that he is covered by a liability insurance covering his liability.
Provision of accommodation
The accommodation is available from 17:00, unless previously agreed. Notify us in case of late arrival, after 22:00.
Release of accommodation
Accommodation must be vacated on the day of departure no later than 12:00 p.m.
They will be checked before the departure of the guest. The deposit will then be given to you regarding the stay in the CHARMING APARTMENT.
Breakfast hours
Breakfast (only for the Suite in the Stars) is served from 8 am to 10 am, unless special request, notify us the day before. Please let us know your culinary preferences as soon as possible.
Pets
Unless expressly agreed at the time of booking, pets are no longer accepted in LA CATICHE DE LOUTRE.
Respect for the place
The kitchens, the parts not presented to the guests or the private parts are not left at the free disposal of the guests.
Our travelers are asked to respect the state of the art and especially the accommodations. Restoration in La Suite dans les Étoiles is forbidden. Only persons staying at LA CATICHE DE LOUTRE are allowed to enter the premises. All the places are strictly non-smoking (even at the window!) except private exteriors: terrace and patio.
The children
Given the layout of the premises and the stairs, LA CATICHE DE LOUTRE is not suitable for children under the age of 10.
Lifestyle
The respect of a certain art of living is requested from all guests to guarantee the tranquility of the places and the comfort of its guests. The client undertakes to make the accommodation in perfect condition at the end of the stay, to declare and to bear financially any eventual degradation for which he could be responsible.
Personal effects
LA CATICHE DE LOUTRE is not responsible for any theft, loss or damage to the personal effects of the guests. In case of forgetting at the end of the stay, the effects may be returned to the person concerned, at his request and at his expense.
Confidentiality
LA CATICHE DE LOUTRE undertakes not to transmit the information communicated by its clients to other companies or organizations.
Assignment of jurisdiction
This contract is governed by French law. All disputes to which this contract may give rise, concerning both its validity, its interpretation, its performance, its termination, their consequences and their consequences will be submitted to the competent courts under the conditions of ordinary law.
